The SPLIT function in Google Sheets allows users to easily separate data into multiple columns or rows. This function can be useful when dealing with large datasets or when organizing data in a specific way. By specifying a delimiter, the SPLIT function will divide the data in a selected cell or range into separate columns or rows, making it easier to work with and analyze. This feature is particularly helpful for users who need to quickly and accurately organize and manipulate data in their Google Sheets documents.

split_by_each– [ OPTIONAL –TRUEby default ] – Whether or not to dividetextaround each character contained indelimiter.remove_empty_text– [ OPTIONAL –TRUEby default ] – Whether or not to remove empty text messages from the split results. The default behavior is to treat consecutive delimiters as one (ifTRUE). IfFALSE, empty cells values are added between consecutive delimiters.
