To use the TAN function in Google Sheets, first select the cell where you want the result to be displayed. Then, type “=TAN(” followed by the angle or reference to a cell containing an angle. Close the parentheses and press Enter. The result, which is the tangent of the input angle, will be displayed in the selected cell.
