To format gridlines in Google Sheets, first select the cells or range of cells that you want to apply the formatting to. Then, click on the “Format” menu and select “Borders”. From there, you can customize the color, thickness, and style of the gridlines. Additionally, you can choose to hide or show the gridlines by clicking on the “View” menu and selecting “Gridlines”. This will allow you to easily organize and structure your data in a visually appealing manner.

However, gridlines can be removed.

- Make the spreadsheet more readable

- Uncheck Gridlines
