Visual processing issues refer to the difficulty some children (and adults) have with processing visual material, i.e. recognizing letters, symbols and numbers. Most commonly referred to as dyslexia these issues adversely affect a child’s ability to learn to read and do math. There is no cure but there are techniques and strategies that can be helpful when dealing with this disorder.
