VISUAL FIELD DEFECT

a lessening in the typical extension of the visual field, marked by part or complete blindness. This is elicited by a disruption in the progression of visual urges between the retina and the visual cortex, that might be elicited by a lesion prior to, following, or within the optic chiasm or in all or a portion of the optic radiations.

VISUAL FIELD DEFECT: “Visual field defects can occur in one or both eyes’ tracts.”
