VASECTOMY

noun. a surgical process for male sterilization wherein the vas deferens, that transports sperm to the urethra from the testes, is taken out, and either spliced or cut into parts, and the openings stemming from this are then sealed or blocked so that sperm may no longer pass through.

VASECTOMY: “My husband said he would have a vasectomy since the recovery period is much simpler than it would be for me to have a tubal ligation.”
