TURING TEST

a test proposed in 1950 to ascertain in which scenarios a computer program may be considered to be intelligent. The test isolates in a room, a person who is linked to either a computer or another person. If the individual inside the room cannot tell, by posing questions, whether they’re talking to the computer or to the other person, then the program on the machine must be considered to be intelligent.

TURING TEST: “The Turing test was developed by a British mathematician by the name of Alan Mathison Turing.”
