Trigeminal Nerve

The Trigeminal Nerve, or fifth cranial nerve, is the large nerve bundle that controls sensation in the face and the motor functions of biting and chewing. It is divided into three components: the ophthalmic nerve (physically controls the eyes), the maxillary nerve (controls facial movements and sensation) and the mandibular nerve (controls the mouth and jaw).
