TIC DISORDER

in the DSM-IV-TR, any one of a set of disorders marked by the occurrence, a multitude of times a day, of motor tics, vocal tics, or both which isn’t because of a general medical condition or the impacts of a medication. The group is inclusive of Tourette’s disorder, chronic motor or vocal tic disorder, temporary tic disorder, and TIC disorder not otherwise specified.
