a longitudinal analysis which assessed 1,528 gifted kids in California over their entire lives, starting during the 1920’s. The participants, aged 3 to 19 years, possessed IQs over 135. The analysis proposed that people who are gifted as kids are more likely to show more success throughout their lives, as gauged by conventional cultural principles, than the people who are not. It also proposed that 2% of the populace is gifted and that gifted kids had superior health and happier lives than their counterparts.
