SELECTION RATIO

Percentage of those qualified to be chosen for an objective that are actually chosen. In staff decisions, it is the quantity of candidates that are employed to carry out a task in a company divided by the whole number of candidates. The smaller the selection ratio, the more aggressive the employment circumstances will be and the more helpful any presented predictor can be when making selection choices, provided that all other aspects stay consistent. See: Taylor-Russell tables.
