SCREENING

Preliminary assessment of a client to ascertain his or her fitness for health related or psychiatric therapy in general, a particular treatment strategy, or recommendation to a therapy facility. This assessment is done on the foundation of health related or psychiatric past history, cognitive situation evaluation, diagnostic composition, or any combination of any of these. Process or method to identify initial indicators of a disorder in a particular person or in people in general.
