ROKEACH VALUE SURVEY (RVS)

Tool which evaluates a subject’s moral to enable them to figure out what is of utmost significance in their lives and undertake sound individual decisions; especially popular as an occupational planning tool. Value is understood to be an established mindset that a particular manner of behavior or final state of being is individually or socially more suitable than an opposing one. Two types of values are ascertained during the evaluation; instrumental, meaning manners of behavior and behavioral attributes which are considered socially appealing; and terminal, meaning final states of being or ideal manners of surviving which are glorified.

ROKEACH VALUE SURVEY (RVS): “The Rokeach Value Survey was developed by Milton Rokeach.”
