PROCESS RESEARCH

Process research looks at the process used in various psychological mechanisms of psychotherapy in relation to their influence on the outcome of treatment, the goal being to identify the most effective methods of therapy to bring about positive change. Process research also does the opposite: finding those procedures and therapies that are least effective and eliminating them.

PROCESS RESEARCH: “Process research attempts to find the most and least effective strategies and procedures in psychotherapy.”
