PRIMARY INSOMNIA

According to DSM-IV-TR primary insomnia is a sleep disorder of consisting of difficulty in either initiation or maintenance of restorative periods of sleep. The disorder leads to distress and/or impairment in function. The disorder has no underlying pathology and is not an aspect of another mental or sleep problem.
