Policy Skills

Policy Skills are the basic techniques used in public policy work. A person working in this field needs to be able to identify issues of concern and develop solutions. Policy skills involve understanding the various causes and effects of a problem; recognizing different perspectives on the problem; and recommending solutions that are well thought-out and possible to implement.
