Peace Psychology

Peace Psychology is a broad spectrum and interdisciplinary approach to preventing the possibility of nuclear war and the achievement and maintenance of world peace. This includes programs to train and educate leaders and populations on methods of non-violent conflict resolution, reconciliation, the causes and consequences of violence and war, as well as the prevention of destructive conflicts and promoting positive communication between world leaders and other influential individuals.

It also promotes and fosters communication between researchers, teachers and practitioners who study these issues and attempt to apply them to the promotion and advancement of peace and violence prevention.
