Occupational Rehabilitation

Occupational rehabilitation is a coordinated program of daily activities which help people, who have suffered from injury, to return to work. Occupational therapists facilitate such programs to assist their clients in attaining their optimum level of functioning. For instance, an employee who just came from a long-term sick leave is evaluated regarding his performance, career goals, and work environment. Interventions such as environmental modification, physical therapy, and counseling sessions were implemented.
