NEST BUILDING

is a form of behaviour which is best observed in animals such as- fish, birds and mammals which involves finding a site to build a nest and then using materials which are available, some species are very specific with the nest building material, others are not. The nests are then used as a breeding ground for raising the next generation before normally being left before a new nest is made in the next season.

NEST BUILDING: “Nest building is primarily observed in animals, such as birds, who build nests with materials that are immediately available, normally this activity is conducted with a partner.”
