Negative Affect Scale

Negative Affect Scale is a sub-scale of the Positive and Negative Affect Scale (PANAS) which aims to assess mood. The other sub-scale is Positive Affect Scale. For instance, test takers specify to what extent, on a 5-point scale (1= not at all, 5=very much) do they feel interested (positive) or irritable (negative). The other elements of negative affect include being nervous, guilty, hostile, and ashamed.
