NARCOLEPSY

is considered a neural disorder which consists of excessive daytime sleepiness which are paired with very brief attacks of sleep which cannot be repressed during the waking hours. Narcolepsy does not seem to change in terms of the number of attacks even if a full night with REM sleep is achieved the night before.

NARCOLEPSY: “Patients diagnosed with narcolepsy normally experience sharp attacks of sleep which they usually cant control.”
