Modeling is a form of learning where individuals ascertain how to act or perform by observing another individual. Think of it this way, you may know how to tell a joke better because you have watched Jay Leno’s standup routine on TV. Or, if you have ever felt uncomfortable at a party and someone gives you the advice of: “When in Rome, do as the Romans do” — well, the person is really saying: “Model your behaviors and learn how to act by watching how others are performing in the same situation.”
