Melatonin

Melatonin is a naturally occurring compound found in the body that has many vital functions; maintaining the circadian rhythm (sleep/wake cycles), light dependence, antioxidant functions, support of the immune system, and dreaming. Melatonin levels are also believed to play a crucial role in autism and aging. In addition, some studies have shown that melatonin plays a crucial part in the aging process and that it can be medically used to help a large number of ailments, such as headaches, mood disorders,cancer, obsesity, tinnitus, Alzheimer’s disease, and neurological problems.
