is a measure of a leaders popularity with their workforce. Typically, employees are asked to rate the concerned co-worker in terms of their attitudes in a bi-polar way, for example- is the co-worker either friendly or unfriendly, supportive or hostile, trustworthy or untrustworthy. The higher a person scores, the greater the general positive feeling about them. This was developed by a U.S. psychologist Fred Fielder (1922 -).
LEAST PREFERRED COWORKER SCALE (LPT: SCALE): “There is a battery of tests and questionnaires which look at workplace relationships, one such is the least preferred co-worker scale which quantifies a workforces opinion of each worker, from this you can then highlight who the least preferred worker actually was.”
