LEARNING THEORY

A theory which sets out to explain the learning process itself. This term is actually an umbrella term for smaller theories such as Hull’s Mathematic Theory of Learning which looks at the basic assumptions of learning.

LEARNING THEORY: “The learning process is still widely misunderstood and there really isn’t an understanding of the general pathways involved, therefore researchers have developing learning theories to explain it.”
