Irritable Mood

An irritable mood is a state of emotional agitation where a person is likely to become angry with little or no further provocation. This type of mood can be brought on tiredness, frustration, or pain. When a person is feeling this way it is helpful to temporarily separate from situations or people that are likely to cause more aggravation. In this way it is possible to regain a state of calmness and stability that is important in making healthy and appropriate choices.
