Inhibitory Process

An inhibitory process occurs when the transmission of neuron (nervous system) signals are activated or inhibited by neurotransmitters.It can also refer to any antagonistic function (counteracting of neurotransmitter) of the nervous system. Another function is to create any stimulation of the cortex that allows for learning, memory and action.
