Clairvoyance is the ability to see or know things without actually perceiving them via the senses. It is a form of extrasensory perception (ESP). For example, psychic medium Teresa Caputo claims to communicate with the dead, and magician David Blaine can guess what card you have chosen out of a deck. Other clairvoyants can supposedly predict the future and find missing persons. However, scientific studies have been conducted on clairvoyance, and the results have not shown that it is a real phenomenon.
