CENSORED DATA

n. data in which statistical methods of measures and estimates are not applicable. Specifically, it is a set of data wherein some values are not observed and not validated, since this observable event has not yet occurred. Thus, any response to this event becomes unmeasurable in the scale.

CENSORED DATA: “To illustrate censored data, a 2010 study of the divorce rate of people born in 1970 is set data because it excludes those who divorce by 2011 or anytime after the end of the study.”
