n. the maximum extent to which an individual is able to receive and retain information such as in mental or intellectual capacity, or to perform and withstand tasks such as in physical capacity. See ability. Compare inborn potential- developed potential.

CAPACITY: “An individual’s capacity means the potential to accomplish a particular physical, intellectual, or creative task.”
