BROTHERLINESS

n. a feeling of solidarity fostered among human beings. It is outwardly expressed as a concern for their well-being and an active involvement with others. It may be the answer to a person’s search for rootedness, as explained by German sociopsychologist Erich Fromm (1900-1980).

BROTHERLINESS: “With brotherliness as the ideal, concern for others could develop into concern for society in general.”
