BRADYRHYTHMIA

n. a disturbance in the heart characterized by abnormal slowness in rhythm. It is often diagnosed as being due to the following possible causes: sinus bradycardia, sinoatrial block, and atrioventricular block. Synonymous with bradycardia.

BRADYRHYTHMIA: “The slowness of the heart rhythm in bradyrhythmia is detected as the slowness of the pulse rate as well.”
