BELIEF SYSTEM

n. a set of beliefs which guide and govern a person’s attitude. Usually, it is directed towards a system such as a religion, philosophy, or ideology. Attitudes and beliefs in these systems are closely associated with one another and retained in memory. See attitude system.

BELIEF SYSTEM: “Your belief system is a set of attitudes and beliefs which mutually support each other for much of your life.”
