n. a multidisciplinary field which is a sub-speciality of both psychology and pediatrics. A substantial part of pediatric psychology and clinical child psychology. As a specialty, it focuses on the assessment and treatment of behavior-related issues such as developmental disabilities, learning and attention disorders,coping mechanisms, loss of appetite and sleep, nocturnal enuresis, etc.
