BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION

n. the use of behavior change techniques to increase the frequency of adaptive behavior and decrease that of maladaptive behavior. It also makes use of learning techniques such as operant conditioning, modeling, and biofeedback to modify human behavior, More or less synonymous with behavior therapy.
