BAYLEY SCALES OF INFANT AND TODDLER DEVELOPMENT

n. scales which assess the stages of development among infants and toddlers between the ages of 1 to 42 months. The test provides simple, everyday stimuli such as blocks, shapes, boards, and other items commonly seen in the household. The key is to engage the child’s attention and elicit a specific response. All in all, there are five scales to the test and they include those of the Mental, Motor, Behavior Rating/Infant Behavior, Social-Emotional, and Adaptive Behavior scales.
