Battle Fatigue

Battle fatigue is an obsolete term that refers to what is now termed Combat Stress Reaction, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorderor Shell Shock. This military term pertains to symptoms such as stupor, difficulty making decisions, and being numb due to the traumatic experiences during the war. Other symptoms such as aggressive behavior, irritability, depression, flashbacks, and nightmares manifest after certain days or months.
