BASIC PERSONALITY

n. a pattern of thinking, feeling, and behaving which is distinct among people raised within a similar culture. These similarities in personality are an offshoot of having been exposed to similar child-rearing practices. Embodied as structure, it is accounted for by set institutions in society such as religion and folklore.
