BASAL SKIN RESISTANCE

n. a measure of the electrical resistance of human skin in a subject who is in the resting state. One of its criteria is an individual’s galvanic skin response. It is a baseline measure also known as basal resistance level. See skin conductance- also polygraph.

BASAL SKIN RESISTANCE: “Basal skin resistance is usually measured when the human subject is asleep or in a dream state.”
