APOLLONIAN

adj. describes a state of mind that is extremely well-ordered, rational, and very harmonious (from Apollo, the god of prophecy, music, and healing in Greek mythology). This modern use of the term was coined by German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900), who drew a contrast between opposing sides of human nature.

APOLLONIAN: “An Apollonian state of mind is ordered, rational, and harmonious by nature.”
