ANAGLYPH

noun. A sole image derived from two replicas of the exact same picture which vary in color and are minimally out of place with each other in the side-to-side visual orientation. When observed through colored spectacles, only one of the pictures can be seen through each eye, and the side-to-side displacement of the pictured is understood as stereoscopic depth.

ANAGLYPH: “Anaglyph’s are commonly seen decorating the walls of high school art rooms.”
