formed in 1935 in America, an organization which is recognized as being the most well-known, oldest, and biggest, a globally deliberate team of people who, via a 12 step system, look to assist one another in getting and remaining abstinent from alcohol use. The sole prerequisite for being a member is a longing for sobriety. Endorsed by deliberate donations of its union members and teams, Alcoholics Anonymous does not look for nor allows outside financial support. Members maintain individual namelessness at the general public level, thereby accenting Alcoholics Anonymous concepts rather than individuality.
