a detachment situation which happens soon after ceasing the extended, substantial ingestion of alcohol. A minimum of two of these are necessary in order to diagnose alcohol withdrawal: (i) involuntary hyperactivity (perspiration, thumping heart, dried out mouth, and others.), (ii) shaky hands, (iii) sleeplessness, (iv) sickness or throwing up, (v) illusions or delusions, (vi) psychomotor frustration, (vii) anxiousness, and (viii) grand mal seizures.
