ADULT ATTACHMENT INTERVIEW

a strategic questioning process spanning one hour’s time which is utilized to determine someone’s mental competency and state of well-being in regard to their individual attachment endeavors. Stemming from claims from others who have been questioned about endeavors they underwent concerning their mothers and fathers, focusing primarily on traumas such as divorce or authoritative behaviors. The four classifications derived from this process are: (i) dismissing, (II) preoccupied, (iii) disorganized of not resolved, and (iv) autonomous or secure.
