ABILITY TRAIT

part of an individual’s disposition that retains their ability to reach intended marks they set for their selves in life. Grouped with dynamic and temperament traits, they make up three types of source traits depicted in Cattell’s Factorial Theory of Personality.

ABILITY TRAIT: “Mark noticed his desire to overachieve from a young age, and assumed he could credit his success partly to ability traits and genetics, and also partly to his work ethic.”
